SOLD This exceptional late-19th-century washstand features a breathtakingly figured heavy rouge marble top and matching high splashback. The wooden base is finished in a hand-distressed olive-gold antiqued patina that perfectly complements the rich organic tones of the stone.
Condition & Restoration Notes:
"This piece was proudly rescued from near-destruction. During its salvage, both the marble top and matching splashback suffered clean, structural fractures. Our studio has masterfully fused the pieces back together using high-tensile structural epoxy, followed by meticulous color-matching and a smooth, protective poly-coat seal. The repair is structurally sound, entirely flush to the touch with no physical delineation, and manifests only as an organic, faint hair-line characteristic that blends beautifully into the marble’s natural heavy veining. Photos of the seamless repair line are provided for your total confidence.
Dimensions: 42” Wide: 18” Deep: 50” Tall
