Excellent overall condition.
The wood retains its rich honey-to-chestnut tones and dramatic natural grain with a polished finish. Structure is solid and heavy throughout. Drawers and doors operate smoothly. There are only minor surface marks and light residual spots on some drawer fronts (visible in close inspection), consistent with careful use and handling. No structural damage, significant repairs, or major wear is present.
Hand-blown Murano glass tray in a free-form organic flower or leaf shape. Deep green glass is densely patterned with shimmering gold and bronze aventurine flecks and controlled bubbles that catch the light beautifully. The ruffled, undulating rim ends in graceful curled tips. Retains its original “Murano Glass – Made in Italy” label on the base.
Perfect as a jewelry catchall, candy dish, or pure sculptural accent on a console, coffee table, or vanity. A classic example of mid-century Venetian glassmaking with strong visual presence.

Condition:
Good overall vintage condition. The upper surfaces, ruffled rim, and interior show no chips, cracks, or significant wear. There are light surface scratches on the underside of the base, visible around the original Murano sticker when the piece is turned over. These are typical for a piece of this age and do not affect the appearance when the tray is in normal use or display.
This 5-foot Irish primitive pub bench has genuine character and quiet presence. The solid wooden top shows deep, honest wear and a rich dark tone with visible grain and old surface marks. It sits on sturdy trestle-style legs finished in soft peach paint that has aged into a beautifully uneven, timeworn surface.

Venetian-Inspired Patina | A Piece of Canadian History
A petite statement piece with a wonderfully unexpected story.
Layers of aged turquoise, weathered ivory and antique gold create a beautifully timeworn finish reminiscent of Venetian and Florentine antiques. Its richly distressed surfaces give this little chest an unmistakable sense of history and individuality.
But its most remarkable story is hidden within.
During restoration, we discovered that a previous owner had ingeniously repurposed wooden hockey sticks as the drawer runners. Original SHER-WOOD and ULTRALITE markings remain intact, including a circa-1978 shaft marking.

"This piece was proudly rescued from near-destruction. During its salvage, both the marble top and matching splashback suffered clean, structural fractures. Our studio has masterfully fused the pieces back together using high-tensile structural epoxy, followed by meticulous color-matching and a smooth, protective poly-coat seal. The repair is structurally sound, entirely flush to the touch with no physical delineation, and manifests only as an organic, faint hair-line characteristic that blends beautifully into the marble’s natural heavy veining. Photos of the seamless repair line are provided for your total confidence.
